Fun with Photography

Someone you'd like to be more like
Mrs. Fraser is a person that I look up to, and aspire to be more like.  She is always calm, cool, and collected, while encouraging us as students to reach our goals through creativity.  #thankyou

A book
A truly terrifying, and eye opening, read, Ashfall is a must read.  The Yellowstone super volcano has erupted, leaving most of the United States to deal with the horrible after effects:  ash, dangerous weather conditions, and a need to survive.  #sorryitissideways

Something square
After I signed this board this year, I realized that I was finally graduating (given that I had to live through this year first).  It finally started to hit me that I would soon be moving on to the next stage of my life, and something that I have never experienced before.  #unprepared

Something round
Does anyone remember the old lunchroom, or possibly when the lunchroom was under construction?  After enduring awkward encounters with students at the entrance/exit of the lunchroom, the deafening sounds of construction, and the varying temperatures of the lunchroom, we have the beautiful new student center.  It was worth the wait.  #feelslikeHighSchoolMusical

Something handwritten
Oh, the dreaded poster, especially if it is in a different language (such as this French one).  This is quite a lovely poster, though, and I like the flowers at the top.  #greatillustrationtoo

Something from nature
Even though this plant is inside (and hopefully real), the plants in the science wing always make me smile.  I am not quite sure why, but it might be the attempt to make this part of the school feel homier, lighter.  Whatever it is, it works.  #hopingitsreal

Something that looks like a face but isn't really
I believe that this outlet was shocked that it was getting its picture taken (can't you see, the eyes and "O" mouth).  #Icouldnotthinkofacaption

Something a little kid might notice or find interesting
This is such a beautiful painting that I think anybody could spend hours staring at.  In my opinion, the variety of colors and numerous eyes would draw any curious child in.  #apologiesfortheglare

Something that makes you feel nostalgic/brings back an important memory
This stairwell reminds me of the times that I have been running late to class, and booked it up the staircase (there is never anybody in the science hallway, anyway).  I would also usually sigh in relief as I made it to the top of the staircase... #highschoolproblems

Something that irritates you or other people
You know that slow, monotonous pinging noise?  That is the sound of the faulty pressure of the sinks at Kickapoo.  Try and find the one that works.  #newbathrooms

Something that is beautiful
Laura has been one my friends since kindergarten.  As she is painting here, I remember that her house was the pinnacle of arts-and-crafts.  #lookaththatpumpkin

Something that will always remind you of being at KHS
Umm, it is a dinosaur head.  How could this not be implanted in one's memory of their school?  #rawr

An interesting angle
This is a beautifully painted picture (off-center, for the interesting angle) representing Kickapoo's school spirit.  Unfortunately, I find it slightly intimidating.  Does that mean I am intimidated of our school's spirit?  #gochiefs?

Someone who makes you laugh/smile
Justin could make a rain cloud laugh with his constant jokes.  He is constantly smiling and laughing, making everyone around him do the same.  #smile

Someone who has taught you something or helped you somehow
Zachary has taught me to be creative and fun in as many aspects of life as possible.  He has also taught me that a gentleman opens the door for a lady, although I have not quite learned this lesson yet.  #haIgotapicture
