Stubbed toes,
Alarm clocks, and also
Curse words

There'd be larger libraries,
Greener grass, and
Black pants that could repel lint.

You wouldn't have illness.
You wouldn't have arguments.
You wouldn't have storms.
Or "Why don't you make-up?"
You wouldn't even have make-up.
If I were in charge of the world
A chocolate chip cookie straight
Out of the oven would be a vegetable.
All classrooms would be 74 degrees
And a person who sometimes forgot to dream
And sometimes forgot to gleam,
Would still be allowed to be
In charge of the world.
Your makeup comment made me think of what you said about your friend sitting you down in front of the mirror and using you as her personal hair/makeup mannequin! : )

Now, i don't think people should go around making fun of one another and swearing at each other, but its a way to express yourself. When you are angry you are not going to scream about gumdrops and unicorns. You are going to swear, because it is a way to get it all out.
