My Hopes and Dreams

I dream of having a happy life, just like anybody else.  In my version, I want to travel to every possible place in the world that I am able to go to.  No matter what my age, I will hop in any boat, plane, or car to travel to some place new.  I also dream of becoming an Occupational Therapist.  I enjoy helping people, and this is a career where people are being treated through therapy in order to heal.  Being able to see patients come more and more out of pain would be so rewarding.  Being an Occupational Therapist would also allow me to get know many different people with all kinds of personalities, which is something that I would look forward to every day.  Another one of my dreams is to learn how to play the guitar.  I have always thought that the guitar was such a beautiful instrument, and have envied people who know how to play it.  If I learned how to play this wondrous instrument successfully, I would just want to play it for fun, or for my family.  I also dream of having a family whenever I get older.  I know this is a cliché dream, but it is one of my dreams nonetheless.  I want to have what my parents have with my brother and me, which is a close, loving relationship.  I want to be able to take my kids out for ice cream to celebrate their good grades, or the end of another year of school.  Having a family would make my life (especially my adult life) complete, because I would always have people to come home to, rely on, and love.
